Blush is used to add a look of vibrancy and health to your face. It is not to be used as a contour, meaning it should only be applied to the "apples" of your cheeks(the fleshy part you can pinch). The color you choose should match your lipstick and it should be a light to medium color depending on your skintone. Picking a lighter color rather than a darker color will make you appear more "vibrant".

Application Technique:

Use a blush brush and keep it for that purpose only. Your powder brush will not do...It needs to be smaller than a powder brush because we want to target the upper fleshly part of your cheek. The right size brush, or "blush" brush will deposit color effectively by being the proper shape.

Apply blush ONLY to "apples" of cheeks, do not extend up cheekbone(unless you want a retro 1980's look)
